Hi!
Carrie Keating is a New York based theatre artist. She has appeared in film, television, theatre, concert dance, and even circus. She most recently played Emily in American Theatre Group's production of Our Town. In NYC she has performed on stage at SoHo Playhouse, A.R.T./NY, Signature Theatre, and Theatre for The New City. Recent on screen credits include Carla in After Forever (Amazon Prime), Lily in The Stranger (w/ Hidetoshi Nishijima), and Honey Badger in The Keeper (Amazon Prime).
She was a 2025 Artist In Residence with Hupstate/Saltonstall where she began creating a magic show with Henry Evans. Carrie’s web series “Connect2u” was commissioned by Rizzle. It garnered over 1 million views and was nominated for best vertical series in the IAWTV awards. She is a current member of FAB, a women’s development company under the Off-Broadway umbrella of The Barrow Group.
Her first play, The Bear, Every Time, is currently in development as a One-Act and is a 2026 finalist in SoHo Playhouse’s Lighthouse Series. The short play has been developed with numerous theaters and programs across the country including in the A Chronicles at MoCa/CT, Genesius Reading Series, Equity Reading series at the NYPL, and Mosaic Theatricals (upcoming). Executive Producer at MSNOW, Rebecca Dryden, describes the piece as “…the best kind of live theater - captivating, unexpected, must-see in every way. The show’s creative capture of an idea that is, at once, both surreal and universal is a revelation and you won’t be able to stop thinking about it after you’ve seen it. This play is urgently of-the-moment and darkly hilarious. Watching it is one of those experiences that makes you remember why art exists.”
Directing credits include Quinn The Magnificent in the Artist in Residence Program at The Barrow Group, Goldilocks Has Questions at ART/NY, and The Melon Felon, a physical theatre/clown piece for Shadow Traffic.
